 SOLD An Early Transferware Plate by Rogers

This plate has a wonderful neo-classical design molded into the rim, and a transfer of a sister and brother holding hands. The verse reads: "For it was ever our delight / To love each other day and night / Nor would I do a thing to spite / MY SISTER" The plate is in great condition and measures 6¾" diameter. It is impressed "ROGERS" on the back. |
